How do finches play ball?
Lucille set two little yellow balls about an inch or so around on the table. The finches knock them off, then push them around the floor with their beaks.
She has another ball that's like a plastic cage with a bell in it. She tied a thick string to it. They like to pull it around by the string and make the bell ring.
Those crocheted book marks that she hung from the ceiling rope are also great fun laid out on the table. The finches love to yank them off the table onto the floor. Once is never enough for finches. They enjoy instant replays. Lucille picks these things up and they knock them down many times daily.
They needed something new to do now that they can't get to the doilies in the living room and "fix" them. They loved to yank on doilies and fold up the corners.
